Amanda Murphy
Board Vice President
About Amanda Murphy
Amanda was raised in the Finger Lakes wine region of New York State where she gained an early appreciation for wine and the land. A yearning for the city life lead her to study Fashion Merchandising at Philadelphia University, earning a Bachelors of Science degree, followed by her MBA to further her business acumen.
Returning to the Finger Lakes, Amanda utilized her business knowledge and passion for wine by managing a well-established family owned winery. There, she quickly began to learn more about wine, the industry, and the fact that she would never stop learning, which grabbed hold, and 13 years later she’s not looked back.
Since 2010 Amanda has lived and worked in the Napa Valley, enjoying the California lifestyle while leading high-profile boutique luxury wineries in the areas of hospitality, sales, and business development. In 2014 Amanda had the pleasure of working alongside Mallory Uran McEligot launching a new luxury by-appointment winery where the idea and need for BANG was conceptualized.
Amanda is the Wine Club Manager for Sojourn Cellars, working remotely from her home in North Carolina with her husband, daughter, and French bulldog.
