Surrounded by estate vineyards, Zialena is a modern Alexander Valley oasis offering immersive tasting experiences that explore our portfolio of wines produced entirely on site. Our land is the heart of our family, our wines a legacy and our concrete fermentation tanks the distinction.

Ten open-top, concrete fermentation tanks are the structural heart of our winemaking facility. The porous texture of the concrete allows oxygen that creates layers of flavor, while ambient yeasts add an active, live element that uniquely shapes our wines.

We focus on Cabernet Sauvignon and the Mazzoni clone of Zinfandel with small productions of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and our own field blend called Capella.

Choose from these three experiences.

• 1897/1931 Patio Tasting (Semi-private) – $30/$40 per person: An introduction to the Zialena Estate, focusing on our four core red wines. Relax on our patio while overlooking our 100 acre vineyard.

• Winery Suite (Private) – $70 per person: With our Concrete Fermentation Tanks in the background, enjoy a cabernet-centric tasting and a private winery tour. By having the winery all to yourself, this behind-the-scenes experience allows you to explore concrete fermentation.

• Heritage Vineyard Tour (Private) – $150 per person: Explore the heart of the Zialena Estate, the Mazzoni Family’s 100 acre vineyard. While walking & driving the vineyard with your host, ask questions, enjoy a taste of our Estate Zinfandel with small bites of food. After discovering the vineyard, you will end in the Winery Suite for a tasting of our three distinct Cabernet Sauvignon wines and tour the winery.
