JOB DETAILS

    Hourly Rate: $25-30/hr DOE
    Pay is commensurate with experience and is an estimate
    Hours: 10-15 hours to start

 

 

Responsibilities:

– Subject matter expert on social media trends and platform-native content creation
– Collaborate with internal teams to develop engaging content that resonates across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest
– Research and compile social trends, ideas, competitor examples, and executions to inform and propose new content.
– Own brand personality development with high energy and enthusiasm
– Driver of creative ideas

What you’ll do:
– Create impactful, breakthrough content that addresses each ask but also, when appropriate, goes beyond the brief.
– Work with a wide range and quality of video and static imagery from a collection of photography, short video clips, and animations – and turn them into content assets built for specific platforms and audiences
– Collaborating with our creative and strategy teams to create and alter videos, gifs, short clips, stories, etc.
– Gather information about client’s products, events, and offerings through research and curation
– Find new ways to use social ,edia and the client’s website to engage with followers
– A team player who is always open to collaborating to tackle rapid turnaround times, capture trending moments, and deliver and receive feedback, all while keeping a positive and proactive attitude toward content creation
– Implement and manage content calendars inclusive of all touchpoint activation (Feed, Stories, Reels)
– Have detailed knowledge of the target audience of each project and maintains an accurate tone of voice.
– Source user-generated content to use in stories and in-feed.
– Participate in brainstorming sessions to create concepts for current and future brand campaigns.
– Amends, revises, or redevelops copy in response to feedback with a positive attitude
– Maintains and leads on client content calendars – reviews copy and will correct errors in content, grammar, and punctuation, following AP style and formatting guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS

– Atleast 1+ year of school or experience in a social media, writing or creative content field.
– Must be up to speed on the latest social media and content creation techniques and technologies.
– A hybrid creative writer, innovative thinker and smart marketer
– Have a special way with words that is warm, witty and natural
– A team player who enjoys collaborating but can work independently
– Demonstrated ability to create compelling ideas/content
– Demonstrate understanding of writing nuances between channels: social, print, and digital advertising
– Strong visual mindset and understanding of the wider landscape of content marketing
– Ability to turn around content quickly and/or as needed with content needs and relevant trends.
– Has experience in tools and processes for creative assets and content workflows.
– Proficient in Canva, Google Docs, Meta, IG and Tik Tok
– Interest in the travel, wine, food industries
– Experience building and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and external partners.
– Ability to be resourceful
– Be able to easily switch between social channels
– Understand and have ability to communicate a different brand voice for each brand and switch between brands efficiently
– Ability to conceptualize and execute projects with a strong bias for action and the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
– Thrive in a fast-paced environment
– Social media interest is a must for creative experimentation in the digital landscape.
– Strong multitasking abilities and a deep understanding of the beauty and photography/video industries on a highly detailed level.
– Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and manage multiple deadlines at once
