Marks the Spot Fine Food Catering and Events started in 2010 as a local Food Truck in Napa and quickly grew into the private catering & event company that is it today, servicing the greater Napa Valley and beyond. Marks the Spot has been voted “Best Wedding Caterer” for that past 3 years and that is due to the hard work and skill of our FOH & BOH teams, as well as Mark’s excellent skills in the kitchen. Marks the Spot is run by Chef/Owner Mark and a small in-house team who have worked together for many years.


We are hiring a part-time coordinator who will start training/ assisting, and can grow to full-time/ more responsibilities for the right person.

Day to day duties can include:

  • Creating & printing menus, buffet cards, and agreements
  • Client communications
  • Data entry
    Create & edit event templates
  • Set-up & assist with tasting
  • Assist with site visits
  • Getting & distributing mail
  • FOH packing and unpacking for events


The perfect candidate will have the following skills and availability:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with Dropbox
  • Hospitality/Catering Experience
  • Knowledge of Adobe Pro is a plus
  • Knowledge of Mailchimp is a plus
  • Availability for weekend event duties
  • Napa Valley local a plus


After training, some job duties can be done from home. Must have your own reliable transportation for in-office and off-site work. Hours will vary. $20/hr+ (pay dependent upon experience)
